Effective from 1 April 2026
01What we collect
- Identity and contact details you give us at registration — name, date of birth, address, phone number, email and government ID.
- Clinical information created in the course of your care: history, examination findings, investigation results, imaging, prescriptions, operative notes and discharge summaries.
- Payment and insurance details, including policy number, TPA details and scheme eligibility documents.
- Basic website analytics such as pages visited and approximate location, used only to understand which information people are looking for.
02Why we hold it
- To treat you, and to let every clinician involved in your care read the same record.
- To raise and settle bills, and to process cashless or reimbursement claims on your behalf.
- To meet our legal obligations — including retaining medical records for the period Indian law requires, and reporting notifiable diseases to public health authorities.
- To contact you about appointments, results and follow-ups.
03Who we share it with
- The clinicians, nurses, technicians and support staff treating you.
- Your insurer or TPA, to the extent needed to process a claim you have asked us to process.
- Government scheme administrators where you are being treated under a scheme.
- Laboratories or specialists we refer you to, with the clinical information relevant to that referral.
- Courts, regulators or police where we are legally compelled to disclose.
- We do not sell patient information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
04How long we keep it
- Inpatient and outpatient medical records are retained for the minimum period required by Indian medical record regulations, and longer where a case is under review or litigation.
- Billing records are retained as required by tax and audit law.
- Website analytics are retained in aggregate only.
05How we protect it
- Access to patient records is role-based: staff can open only the records relevant to their work.
- Physical records are held in a controlled medical records department.
- Electronic records are access-logged, and staff are bound by confidentiality undertakings.
- Breaches affecting patient data are investigated and notified to the affected patients.
06Your rights
- You may request a copy of your own medical record. Ask at the medical records department with a photo ID.
- You may ask us to correct factual errors in your demographic details.
- You may withdraw consent for non-clinical communication at any time, without affecting your care.
- You may ask who has accessed your record and why.
07Cookies
- This website uses only the cookies needed to make pages work. It does not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
08Changes to this policy
- If this policy changes materially, the revised version will be published here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site or our services after that date means the revised policy applies.
