A hospital built to be legible

Aarohan Multispecialty Hospital is a NABH and LaQshya-Manyata accredited multispecialty hospital in Vijayawada, built on a simple idea: patients do better when they understand what is happening to them.

Our story

Why this hospital exists

Vijayawada draws patients from across coastal Andhra and the Krishna delta, and too many of them spend the visit in traffic. A scan in one place, the report a week later in another, the surgery somewhere else again — carrying a plastic bag of films between three institutions that never spoke to each other.

Aarohan Multispecialty Hospital was built to end that trip. Eleven departments, an in-house NABL lab, imaging on the ground floor and one patient record that every treating doctor can read. When your orthopaedic surgeon needs the radiologist, they walk downstairs.

The second thing we set out to fix was the silence. Too many patients leave a hospital without ever having been told, plainly, what was wrong with them and what it cost. Here, prognosis and cost estimates are given in writing before you consent, families get one scheduled clinical update every day, and the treating team stays reachable for thirty days after you go home.

Values

Four commitments we can be held to

Not wall art. Each one is measurable, and each one is something a patient can call us out on.

  • Say the true thing

Prognosis, cost and risk get stated plainly and in writing — including when the answer is one nobody wants.

  • Treat the person

Dignity is not a soft measure. How a patient is spoken to matters as much as what they are treated with.

  • Never ration on ability to pay

Scheme and cashless patients get the same surgeon, the same theatre and the same protocol as everybody else.

  • Measure, then improve

Infection rates, readmissions and delivery outcomes are audited every quarter and reviewed by the whole clinical team.

Accreditations

Independently verified, continuously audited

Accreditation is not a certificate on a wall. It is a standing commitment to be inspected by people who do not work here.

NABH Accreditation

National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers

NABH is India’s hospital accreditation body, a constituent board of the Quality Council of India and recognised internationally by ISQua. Accreditation means this hospital is assessed against several hundred standards spanning patient safety, clinical outcomes, infection control, staff competency and governance — and re-assessed on a cycle, not once.

  • ISQua recognised
  • Patient safety
  • Infection control
  • Clinical outcomes
  • Continuous audit

LaQshya-Manyata

Labour Room Quality Improvement

LaQshya is the Health Ministry’s labour room quality initiative; Manyata is the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India’s standard for private maternity care. Earning them means our labour rooms, delivery practices, newborn protocols and postnatal services meet defined safety benchmarks — the mark that matters most for our obstetrics department.

  • MoHFW initiative
  • FOGSI certified
  • Labour room quality
  • Newborn care
  • Maternity safety

Our pathology laboratory is separately certified by NABL, the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories. Certificates are displayed at reception and copies are available on request.
