Admission

How admission works

Two paths, depending on how you arrive. Both end with a named doctor and nurse responsible for your care.

Planned admission

  1. Register at the front desk

Bring your photo ID and prior records. The admission desk registers you and points you to the right OPD.

  2. Consult the treating doctor

The doctor reviews your condition, recommends admission if needed, and explains the procedure, the expected stay and the estimated cost.

  3. Paperwork and bed allocation

We prepare your file and allocate a bed. Room categories are general, semi-private and private — availability is confirmed before you pay.

  4. Advance deposit

An advance is taken at admission. If you are insured, we contact your insurer the same hour to start pre-authorisation.

  5. Your care team takes over

From here a named nurse and doctor are responsible for your stay, and your family gets one scheduled update each day.

Room categories: general, semi-private and private. Availability is confirmed before any deposit is taken.

Emergency admission

  1. Come straight to the emergency entrance

Open 24/7 on the Road No. 5 side. Triage happens on arrival — no registration is needed first.

  2. Stabilisation begins immediately

The emergency physician and nursing team start treatment while an attendant completes the paperwork in parallel.

  3. Transfer to ward or ICU

Once stable, the patient moves to the appropriate unit and the treating team briefs the family on the plan of care.

Do not wait to register. Call +91 91336 11292 on your way and triage will start the moment you arrive.

Visitors

Visiting someone here

House rules

  • No smoking anywhere on hospital premises, including outside the entrance.
  • No outside food in patient rooms without the nursing staff’s permission.
  • Please keep noise down — sound carries and patients are sleeping.
  • Do not tip hospital staff. They are not permitted to accept money or gifts.
  • Valuables remain the patient’s responsibility. The hospital is not liable for lost items.
  • If you have a fever or a cough, please do not visit.
  • One designated attendant may stay overnight where clinical staff permit it.

Visitor passes are issued at the front desk against a photo ID. Please wear the pass where staff can see it.

Billing & payment

What you pay, and when

An itemised bill at discharge, an interim bill whenever you ask for one, and no surprise line items.

Payment methods

  • Cash

Accepted at the billing counter for every service.

  • Debit & credit card

    Visa, Mastercard and RuPay.

  • UPI & digital

All UPI apps. Cheques are not accepted.

Advance deposit

An advance is taken at admission for all inpatient procedures. The amount is based on your treatment plan and is told to you before you pay. Any balance either way is settled at discharge.

Billing policy

  • An itemised bill is issued at discharge covering treatment, procedures, medicines and room charges.
  • Interim bills can be requested at any point during a long stay.
  • For cashless patients we deal with the insurer or TPA directly — you do not chase them.
  • Cheques are not accepted. Cash, card and UPI are.
  • The billing counter is open 24/7 for emergency payments and queries.
  • Duplicate bills are available on request for reimbursement or your own records.

Insurance & schemes

Cashless hospitalisation

We are empanelled with the major insurers, TPAs and government schemes. Pre-authorisation is initiated the hour you are admitted — you do not chase the insurer, we do.

How it works

  • Bring your insurance card, policy number and TPA details to admission.
  • We initiate pre-authorisation with your insurer immediately, not at discharge.
  • Reimbursement claims are also supported with complete documentation.
  • If pre-authorisation is denied, we tell you the same day and explain why.

Government schemes

  • Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY)
  • Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva (Aarogyasri)
  • EHS — AP Employees Health Scheme
  • CGHS
  • ECHS

Discharge & aftercare

Going home

Discharge is a sequence, not a single moment. Here is the order it happens in, so you know what is left.

  1. Step 01

    Doctor clears discharge

Your treating doctor reviews your condition and issues the discharge order, usually on the morning round.

  2. Step 02

    Discharge summary prepared

Medical records writes up your diagnosis, treatment, medications and follow-up plan.

  3. Step 03

    Final bill and settlement

An itemised bill is prepared at the billing counter. Insured patients receive the finalised claim document.

  4. Step 04

    Medication and instructions

A nurse takes you through every discharge medication, dietary advice, wound care and your follow-up date.

  5. Step 05

    Collect your documents

Take your discharge summary, reports, prescriptions and imaging with you. You will need them at follow-up.

  6. Step 06

    Stay in touch

Call us if anything changes at home. Telephonic advice from the treating team is free for 30 days after discharge.

After you leave

Telephonic advice from your treating team is free for 30 days after discharge. If something changes at home — a fever, a wound that looks wrong, a medication you cannot tolerate — call before you worry about it overnight.
